JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance has opened its voice regarding the development of a subsidized fuel distribution scheme (BBM) plan into Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) in 2025.
Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatarwata said that currently the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is creating a single database regarding the population of Indonesia according to poverty and others.
Meanwhile, this database will combine all data from Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), PLN and Pertamina.
"That is what is being tried combined with all existing databases, whether it is from DTKS, then the database in BKKBN, the database owned by PLN and Pertamina," he said at the Press Conference of our State Budget, Wednesday, December 11.
Isa explained that all data is currently being combined by BPS which aims to be the basis for BLT distribution, such as direct subsidies, and other programs so that they can be right on target.
"Everything is being combined by BPS and that will be the basis for direct subsidy BLT and so on," he said.
Previously, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that a new subsidized fuel distribution scheme had been completed. This new scheme will certainly take effect in 2025.
"Regarding the subsidy method that has been completed, God willing, it will be decided in the near future through the flat (limited meeting) and we will announce it through the flats," Bahlil told the media crew, Wednesday, December 11.
