JAKARTA - The Minister of Finance said it has taken various corruption prevention measures in the field of state finance, both in terms of receipts, spending, and financing.

She added, in terms of state revenues sourced from taxes, the Ministry of Finance utilizes a database of beneficial owners to explore potential tax receipts and ensure ownership of tax liabilities.

"The Ministry of Finance has improved the validity of Mineral and Coal Mining Committee PNBP to optimize state revenues and to ensure compliance from taxpayers", she said.

Then, to strengthen business processes digitally, the Ministry of Finance has also developed an update of the core system of tax administration or Core Tax.

"It is expected to strengthen tax institutions to be full of integrity, and professional, and can provide services surely and easily for taxpayers", she said.

Lastly, in terms of spending, the Ministry of Finance encourages that the planning, budgeting, and procurement of government goods and services are carried out based on good governance, transparency, and accountability.

One of them is through the integration of planning and budgeting of the Ministry/Institution through electronic-based applications, as well as for the local government of the Ministry of Finance to develop the application of Local Government Information System.
