The Ministry Of Public Works Adds 47.5 Km Toll Roads That Operate During The Christmas-New Year Holiday

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) has increased the toll road to operate 47.6 kilometers (km) along Java Island to support smooth traffic flow during the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays.

This was conveyed by the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, during a working meeting (Raker) with Commission V at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 4.

"To support the smooth running of the Nataru holiday, the efforts made by the first addition of the toll road operate along 47.6 km along Java Island (in) 2024," said Dody.

Dody also detailed the addition of the toll road, including the Cimanggis 'Cibitung Toll Road section 2B Cikeas' Cibitung along 19.7 km, the Cibitung 'Cilincing Toll Road 0.4 km.

Berikut, penambahan ruas Tol SoloYogyakarta hingga ke Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) yang baru seksi 1,1 Kartasura Klaten sepanjang 22.3 km, Tol SerpongBalaraja atau seksi 1B sepanjang 5,3 km.

In addition, said Dody, there is a toll road operating with a functional scheme or temporarily during the Nataru moment this time.

Some of them, namely the South Jakarta Cikampek II Toll Road section 3 between the 8.5 km Old Kutanegara segment, the Yogyakarta YIA Kulon Progo Toll Road along 8.6 km and the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road section 1 along 12.9 km.

"The South Jakarta 'Cikampek II' Toll Road Section 3 between the Kutanegara Segment up to 8.5 km, the Solo 'Yogyakarta' TOll Road NYIA Kulon Progo along 8.6 km, the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road Section 1 of the 12.88 km 'Kraksaan' Gending," said Dody.

"We are also increasing the capacity of toll roads. The Jakarta 'Cikampek Toll Road with an additional 1 lane operation, we are also engineering the markings on KM 72 of the Cikampek Toll Road and also the installation of lane control signals at KM 46-71," he concluded.
