Pertamina Pamer Deposits IDR 304.7 Trillion To The State

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) reported that it has deposited IDR 304.7 trillion to the state in 2023.

Pertamina Deputy President Director Wiko Migantoro detailed that the deposit consisted of taxes, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), dividends and bonus signature bonuses.

"In addition to maintaining energy resilience, consistently we can deposit taxes where in 2023 we finish paying taxes, dividends, PNBP, and bonus signatures of IDR 304.7 trillion and become the State-Owned Enterprises that contribute the largest tax in our country," said Wiko in a Hearing Meeting with Commission VI of the DPR RI quoted on Wednesday, December 4.

Not only deposited a sum of money, continued Wiko, this state-owned oil and gas company has also succeeded in realizing domestic product spending and producing IDR 374 trillion throughout 2023.

"If we estimate the effect of multipliers on the purchase of domestic goods, we will generate Rp1,900 trillion rupiah, of which 4.1 million workers are involved in our activities," explained Wiko.

From the financial side, until October 2024 Pertamina reported that it had posted a net profit of US$2.66 billion or equivalent to Rp42.1 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,833 per US dollar) until October 31, 2024.

Wiko said that this achievement was supported by the company's revenue, which was recorded as much as US$62.5 billion or around Rp989.5 trillion.

"As of October 2024, we have opened a net profit of 2.6 billion US dollars with revenue (income) of 62.5 billion US dollars," explained Wiko.
