Pertamina Fostered MSMEs Receive IDR 4.5 Billion Transactions In Exhibitions In The Netherlands

JAKARTA - The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) fostered by PT Pertamina (Persero) won a transaction of IDR 4.5 billion on the second day of the Discovering The Magnificence of Indonesia (DMI) 2024 Tourism & Trade Expo.

Pertamina's Vice President of Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso expressed his appreciation for the success of the assisted MSMEs.

"This is clear evidence that Indonesian MSMEs are able to compete in the global arena. By taking advantage of moments such as DMI 2024, we hope that local products will be increasingly recognized and attractive to the international market," he said in a statement to Antara in Jakarta, Sunday (1/12).

Produk UMKM Bunga Palm Purbalingga dan UMKM Bali Honey Denpasar menjadi produk yang paling diminati pengunjungan, khususnya bagi para pembeli Eropa maupun diaspora di Belanda. Sejumlah penandatan komitmen kerja sama pembelian dari UMKM tersebut juga dilakukan.

The event which took place in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, the Netherlands, became a strategic event to promote tourism potential and introduce superior Indonesian products to the international market.

Pertamina's MSMEs come with various innovative products, ranging from processed foods, handicrafts, commodities, fashion, to environmentally friendly beauty products.

The enthusiasm of the Dutch people for MSME products from Indonesia can be seen from the high number of transactions and interest of buyers, especially in products that prioritize cultural and sustainability values.

Products such as sugar, honey, to food, handicraft, and weaving products become prima donnas.

"The DMI 2024 Tourism & Trade Expo event will still last until the local weekend. This provides a greater opportunity for MSMEs to reach a wider market and score new achievements," said Fadjar.
