PGN LNG Indonesia Prints Gas Distribution Record Of Up To 29.8 Million MMBTU

JAKARTA - PT PGN LNG Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) recorded total gas distribution until November 2024 reaching 29.8 million MMBTU.

This number increased 75 percent from 2023 and became an all-time high record in the company's history.

In terms of revenue, PGN LNG received LNG cargo with a total volume of 30.7 million MMBTU and 14 Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers have been implemented. This is an important part in ensuring the smooth distribution of energy to various regions.

President Director of PGN LNG, Nofrizal said, this achievement cannot be separated from the role of the Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Lampung, which has been the backbone of infrastructure in the distribution of gas from LNG regasification.

"As reliable LNG infrastructure operators, we are ready to accept and distribute gas from LNG regasification to support national energy needs. This achievement is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to providing energy solutions that are sustainable and efficient," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, November 29.

With the increasing need for environmentally friendly energy in Indonesia, PGN LNG Indonesia continues to strengthen its role through the management of modern international standard infrastructure.

"PGN LNG Indonesia is optimistic to continue to encourage the use of LNG as a cleaner and environmentally friendly transitional energy," said Nofrizal.
