JAKARTA - Commitment in maintaining product quality and quality to achieve superior and sustainable performance, bringing PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) to win the Golden Rank at the SNI Award 2024 at the 19th National Quality Award of Indonesia organized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) at the Jakarta Convention Center, on Thursday, November 21. At the same event, a subsidiary of SIG, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk won the Silver Award of the SNI Award 2024.
The SNI Award is a form of government appreciation for the consistency of the implementation of SNI by business actors and organizations, which are able to achieve superior and sustainable performance. The 2024 SNI Award was attended by 251 organizations from various sectors, of which 69 organizations were declared worthy of awards. The assessment is based on the contribution of organizations in standardization and assessment of suitability, as well as aspects of sustainability, digitalization, circular economy, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
SIG Operations Director, Reni Wulandari said, GIS is proud to be able to win the gold ranking again at the SNI Award 2024. This award proves that building materials produced by GIS have obtained quality and quality guarantees, as well as product safety in the form of SNI certificates.

One of them is realized in production activities that apply circular economic principles through the use of alternative fuels from agricultural and industrial waste, urban waste (municipal solid waste) which is processed into refuse-derived fuel (RDF), biomass, and other sources, to create sustainable production operations.
