JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) continues to create technological innovations to support the transformation of the green industry in line with President Prabowo Subianto's vision to reduce carbon emissions.

The supporting innovations are in the form of services such as the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) audit, Domestic Component Level (TKDN) verification, green industry certification, testing, calibration, guidance and technical assistance of the industry, consultation, and sales of Adaptive Monitoring Systems (AiMS) products aimed at accelerating decarbonization in the industrial sector.

Head of the Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency (BSKJI) of the Ministry of Industry Andi Rizaldi stated that the innovation was the result of a technical service unit (UPT) that always made a real contribution in strengthening the green industry, and optimizing services.

Like the Semarang Center for Standardization and Prevention of Industrial Pollution Services (BBSPJPPI), which is one of the BSKJI UPT, which is committed to expanding access to the service service market through innovation, so that it is increasingly known and contributes to advancing sustainable industries.

"UPT in the BSKJI environment must always make a real contribution in strengthening the green industry and optimizing industrial services and existing resources," said Andi quoting Antara.

Furthermore, the Head of BBSPJPPI Sidik Herman stated that as clear evidence of his contribution in advancing innovation of green industrial services, his party participated in the series of Electricity Connect 2024 events organized by the Indonesian Electricity Society (MKI) on November 20-22, 2024 as an exhibition.

In this activity, his party provided various services ranging from CEMS to TKDN verification, in the hope of opening access to a greater potential industrial service market.

"Being an exhibition at various prestigious exhibition events such as the Electricity Connect 2024 is a strategic step in opening up greater potential access to the service market and is expected to become an effective platform to display excellence and accelerate BBSPJPPI's contribution to industry," he said.

In addition, the Head of the BSKJI Green Industry Center of the Ministry of Industry, Apin Pria Nugraha, emphasized the importance of the manufacturing sector holding the principle of a green industry that focuses on efficiency and effectiveness of resources, environmental functions and benefits for the community.

"The implementation of the principle of green industry by industry refers to the applicable Green Industry Standards (SIH) with the acquisition of certification that can be processed," he said.
