JAKARTA - PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk will hold the Garuda Indonesia Travel Festival (GATF) 2024. The transaction value targeted by the company in the event reached IDR 55 billion.
Garuda Indonesia Commercial Director Ade Susardi said the company is targeting the transaction value at the event to reach Rp55 billion to make a significant contribution to the company's revenue.
"In Jakarta, the target was Rp55 billion. If there is a contribution, it must be significant," said Ade at a press conference, in Jakarta, Thursday, November 21.
Ade said that the GATF event in Jakarta was the culmination of a series of GATF events that had been going on since October 25, 2024 in various major cities of Indonesia and abroad.
Furthermore, Ade said that not only domestic flights, a number of promos were also presented for flights between countries. However, the portion of domestic flights can reach 85 percent, while the remaining 15 percent of international flights.
"We are flying domestically, maybe 85 percent from Garuda Indonesia, 15 percent internationally," he explained.
Ade said booking tickets at promo prices was not only applied to flights for the December 2024 period, but could be until 2025. Because, there is a habit of customers to book tickets on D-2 to D-3 flights.

For example, continued Ade, even for flights to Bali, tickets are usually ordered by customers since a week before departure.
"Bali can be sold a week or a month earlier. If internationally for the next six months it has started to fill up, so it is more planned. We hope this will continue to increase the number of Garuda passengers," said Ade.
