PT Jasa Raharja guarantees that all victims in consecutive accidents involving a number of vehicles on the Cipularang Toll Road, West Java get compensation.

The accident on the Cipularang Toll Road KM 92.2 towards Jakarta occurred at around 15:15 WIB involving one truck and 11 other four-wheeled vehicles on Monday, November 11.

As a result of this incident, one person died and 24 people were injured. All victims have been evacuated to the Abdul Radjak Purwakarta hospital.

President Director of Jasa Raharja, Rivan A. Purwantono said that the deceased received compensation of Rp. 50 million which was handed over to the legal heirs.

Meanwhile, Rivan continued, for injured victims, they will receive a maximum maintenance fee of Rp. 20 million which is paid to the hospital where the victim is being treated.

"This compensation is a form of basic protection as a form of state presence to the community," he said in an official statement, quoted on Tuesday, November 12.

According to Rivan, shortly after receiving information on the incident, Jasa Raharja immediately coordinated with the local police and hospitals to collect data on victims to accelerate the delivery of compensation.

"We express our deepest concern and condolences for this tragedy. May the bereaved family receive fortitude and all the victims who are receiving treatment be healed as usual," said Rivan.
