Erick Thohir Meets BPOM Boss, Discusses Ease Of Managing MSME Permits

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir met with the Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), Taruna Ikrar today. The two discussed the ease of obtaining permits for MSMEs.

The second meeting was revealed by Erick Thohir through a photo uploaded on his Instagram social media @erickthohir.

"Meeting with the Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), Mr. Taruna Ikrar. We are synergizing to encourage the improvement of the quality and competitiveness of MSMEs that are fostered and receive financing from SOEs," he said, quoted on Tuesday, November 5.

Erick said the cadets are committed to making it easier for MSMEs assisted and the BUMN ecosystem to process BPOM permits.

"Thank you to the cadets who are committed to simplifying BPOM licensing for MSMEs assisted by SOEs and those who work together in the BUMN ecosystem," he said.

According to Erick, this step is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's vision. Where the number one person in Indonesia encourages entrepreneurial growth and the domestic creative economy.

"This synergy is to realize the vision of Mr. President General TNI (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto in encouraging entrepreneurship and developing the creative industry," he said.
