Erick Thohir Prepares Building For The BP Danantara Investment Office

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir admitted that he had prepared a building to become the office of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency or Danantara Investment BP.

Furthermore, Erick said that the SOE super holding will have an office in one of the buildings that is owned by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk.

"Already (meeting the Danantara), because later one of the buildings used by the Danantara is Bank Mandiri's assets, for his office," Erick said when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Friday, November 1.

In addition, Erick said that in the early days of Prabowo Subianto's administration, the Ministry of SOEs was consolidating all state-owned companies. Collaboration is also carried out across ministries.

According to Erick, this step is needed to remove the silo mentality, aka the attitude of being reluctant by various information between employees or divisions that makes the work environment conditions uncomfortable.

"So we can't think about silo anymore. Each ministry, it must have a job desk. So we do too much work, it's impossible," said Erick.

For your information, the agency that is predicted to become a BUMN super holding is led by Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad. This agency will be launched by President Prabowo Subianto on November 8.

Danantara is also predicted to become an investment management agency outside the state budget, which in the long term is planned to be like Temasek, Singapore's global investment agency.
