Prajogo Pangestu Until Aguan Will Be Invited To Work On Three Million Houses Made By Prabowo

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait or familiarly called Ara said that a number of entrepreneurs would be involved in the program of three million houses made by President Prabowo Subianto.

A number of entrepreneurs include Agung Sedayu Group Boss Sugianto Kusuma alias Aguan, Barito Pacific founder Prajogo Pangestu, President Director of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk Garibaldi Thohir or Boy Thohir and Sinar Mas Boss Franky Widjaja.

"I have invited four of my partners, coincidentally we built Hotel Nusantara in IKN, there are from Agung Sedayu, Pak Aguan, there is Pak Prajogo from Barito, there is Mr. Boy Thohir from Adaro, there is Mr. Franky from Sinar Mas, to work together," said Ara at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 29.

Ara said that the mutual cooperation step will begin with the groundbreaking activity for the construction of houses in Tangerang on November 10. The 2.5 hectares (ha) of land will be donated by Ara, while the construction will be carried out by Agung Sedayu.

"This does not use state money. The land is from the private sector, the private sector is building it. We will see how it is handed over to the people," he said.

According to Ara, the construction scheme of three million houses can vary. The land can come from the private sector and be built by the private sector as it will be groundbreaking in November. Then, the land could also come from confiscated land and built by the private sector.

"The models are different. So, the land can be confiscated from confiscated land, it can be land from state property. Yes, we will discuss that. Later, the entry to the Directorate General of State Assets first," he said.

Previously, Ara said that he would donate two hectares (ha) of his land to start the initiation of the three million house program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

He said this initiation was also a way to invite private developers to participate in the construction of the three million homes program.

"There are various kinds of scheme. I made something on November 10, groundbreaking in Tangerang. For whom? For the people. Want to rent it or sell it? Just want to give it," said Ara to reporters at the Ministry of Public Works office, Jakarta, Monday, October 28.

The man who was born on December 23, 1969, also promised that the housing that would later be available would not be charged the fares for the residents.

"Gratis. What form, we just give it," he said.
