Land Bank Prepares Land Near IKN To Realize Prabowo's Mainstay Program

JAKARTA - The Land Bank Agency is preparing land for the three million house construction program launched by President Prabowo Subianto in Penajam Paser Utara (PPU), East Kalimantan, close to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

It is known, the location of the Land Management Rights (HPL) of the Land Bank Agency located in Penajam District, PPU, covering an area of 4,161.9 hectares (ha). There are 4 villages that are included in the HPL area of the Land Bank Agency, namely Lango Beach, Maridan, Riko and Gersik.

"We have prepared it at the PPU, because it was close to IKN before. We have prepared that there is still a large enough remaining land in the PPU," said Head of the Tanah Bank Agency Parman Natamatmadja when met at the Mandarin Orental Hotel area, Jakarta, Thursday, October 24.

Even so, Parman emphasized that the Land Bank Agency has not been invited to communicate by the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) for the provision of land for the program of three million houses. Therefore, he has not yet inventoried in detail the area of land that can be prepared for the program.

"Until now there has not been (there has been a chat), but we ourselves have already had housing programs in two places, Brebes and Kendal, but also in small numbers," he said.

Parman also emphasized that the challenge for the program by utilizing the land area that the Land Bank Agency currently has up to 27,000 ha is whether or not the location can be used as a settlement. The reason is, there are several lands that are located in remote areas, for example at the location of the Napu Valley Land Management Rights (HPL), Poso.

"If it's outside the city like us, the land can be in Napu, right, people don't want to move there, yes," said Parman.

"So, the main challenge outside Java is whether people want to move there and also from the government, we will see what is certain whether this is a gift, rent or a free house for underprivileged people who do not have land before," he continued.

According to Parman, the Land Bank Agency is willing to provide land for the three million house program every year with a note of clarity regarding developers or developers to the target of people who will live.

"If we are, really, ready, of course we have to talk about the scheme. Like what is in Kendal and Brebes, it is in collaboration with developers and the Ministry of PUPR, at that time of course with the bank," he said.

Previously, the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait admitted that he was optimistic that he could carry out the groundbreaking or groundbreaking of the three million house project launched by President Prabowo Subianto in the first 100 days of his work.

The minister, who is familiarly called Ara, admitted that he would speed up the implementation through a periodic review of a number of projects that had been built by the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Housing.

"I will carry out a review of the projects that have been built so far by the Directorate General of Housing. Our target in the first 100 days can be carried out by groundbreaking for housing development for the people," Maruarar said in a written statement, quoted Thursday, October 24.

In addition, to make this happen, he admitted that he would continue to campaign for the spirit of mutual cooperation to build houses for the people in the three million housing program.

One of the priorities is building synergies and cooperation with government ministries/agencies, local governments, the TNI, Polri, BUMN and the private sector.
