AHY Reveals 100 Working Day Target: Inauguration Of Reservoir To Irrigation

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) conveyed the plan for his first 100 working day target in the Red and White Cabinet during the era of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership.

AHY said that one of the focuses of the 100-day work targets included the inauguration of a number of infrastructure projects whose progress has now reached around 90 percent or in the completion stage.

"Earlier, we discussed that there were several actual projects (already) 80-95 percent. This means that it is only a little more complete," said AHY at the Ministry of Public Works Office, Wednesday, October 23.

He said that the infrastructure projects that will be accelerated will be completed, including from reservoirs, roads to irrigation. However, he did not specify in detail what the projects were. However, AHY ensured that the inauguration would be carried out until the end of 2024.

"Pendek kata 100 hari kerja akan ada sejumlah proyek infrastruk apakah itu waduk, jalan, irrigation dan lain sebagainya yang bisa segera diresmikan. Dan bukan hanya secara persypestik tentunya, tetapi bisa segera dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat," katanya.

In line with this, AHY also emphasized that his party would sustainably encourage infrastructure development. This was done in order to improve a number of facilities and infrastructure that had been built in the era of the Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration.

As for the next year, the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure will launch public infrastructure development ranging from markets, stadiums, education to drinking water facilities.

"We will complete all of this in the near future and will be carried out in the next five years. What is clear is that it does not come out of the vision and mission spirit of Mr. President Prabowo Subianto, the sustainability of Jokowi," said Agus.

Not only that, said AHY, his party will also make various breakthroughs in the infrastructure sector, especially to prevent natural disasters.

"Of course with other breakthroughs. Including how to prevent natural disasters. How do we want to convince our people that their lives are also better, qualified and comfortable," he added.
