Ada Menko Pangan Di Kabinet Prabowo, Bawahi Apa Saja?

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially announced the arrangement of ministers who would assist him in the Red and White Cabinet. Prabowo added one new ministry, namely the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs (Kemenko Pangan).

Prabowo has also appointed Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas to occupy the position of Coordinating Minister for Food. Zulhas' inauguration was also carried out this morning at the State Palace, Jakarta.

Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan said he would coordinate four ministries, and a number of other institutions related to food.

Zulhas said the ministries that may be under coordination are the Ministry of Agriculture; Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries; Ministry of Forestry; and Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency.

However, Zulhas emphasized that the list is uncertain. He said that currently, the certainty of which ministries/institutions are under the Coordinating Ministry for Food is still being prepared.

"It's being completed (the list)," said Zulhas after the handover of the position of Minister of Trade in Jakarta, Monday, October 21.

Zulhas will also coordinate a number of agencies. Starting from the National Food Agency (Bapanas), the Quarantine Agency, food business entities such as Bulog will also be under coordination.

"Yes, the coordination (under the Coordinating Ministry for Food)," he said.

On this occasion, Zulhas said that for the next five years, his party will focus on pursuing the target set by President Prabowo Subianto. The target in question is food self-sufficiency.

"Anyway, 5 years of self-sufficiency," he said.

When asked where the location of the Ministry of Food Affairs office was, Zulhas was reluctant to reveal it. He said his office address would be informed when it was ready for use.

"When my office is tidy, I invite everyone," he said.
