JAKARTA - The Integrated Industrial Zone (KIT) in Batang Regency, Central Java, has recorded an investment figure to date which has touched IDR 16 trillion.

"Yesterday, the inauguration of the President was Rp. 14 trillion with the entry of the American Solar SEG, now it is around Rp. 16 trillion, and the 'committed' continues to enter," said KIT President Director Batang Ngurah Wirawan as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 4.

"Korean investors are 100 percent foreign investment (PMA), these Dutch investors are 100 percent as well as PMA. We are grateful that foreign industries want to build, want to operate and want to produce technological goods (at KIT Batang, ed.)," he said.

He hopes that the increasing number of PMA investors entering will attract the attention of other potential investors to invest in KIT Batang

"Just 'Wong' Korea wants, the Netherlands wants to (invest in KIT Batang), don't we cook something else? We hope so," said Ngurah.
