JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded an increase in the number of sales of class Suite Class Partment train tickets.

KAI VP Public Relations Anne Purba said, as many as 155,607 passengers used the Suite Class Partment and Luxury train services from January to September.

KAI VP Public Relations Anne Purba said, this figure increased by 70.6 percent compared to 2023 in the same period, which was 91,208 customers.

Anne added that the peak volume of passengers in this class occurred in June 2024 as many as 17,160 customers or an average of 572 customers per day.

This figure shows that the Suite Class Partment and Luxury train services are increasingly in demand by the public in traveling using rail transportation services.

"The increase is because the two trains are equipped with various interesting features such as more comfortable and private seat facilities, standard hotel toilets, and various other special services," he said in an official statement, Thursday, October 3.

In each room of the Suite Class Partment train, continued Anne, a sliding door has been installed which can be moved automatically.

The seats can be donated up to 180 degrees so that they can function as a bed.
