JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) as well as Chairman of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia succeeded in bringing together two figures from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Arsjad Rasjid and Anindya Bakrie. The relationship between the two heated up after fighting for the Chairman Chairman of Kadin.

"Alhamdulillah, this afternoon I brought together two of my good friends, Mr. Arsjad Rasjid and Anindya Bakrie," Bahlil wrote on his personal Instagram account, quoted on Saturday, September 28.

On this occasion, Bahlil emphasized that the meeting was a commitment to unite the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to remain solid.

"God willing, we are committed to keeping the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry intact and solid," he said.

Meanwhile, Arsjad Rasjid expressed his gratitude to all Indonesian people for continuing to provide support to the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said that currently there is a solution to solve the problem of the struggle for the Chairman of Kadin.

"I and Mas Anin met with Pak Bahlil, now we have obtained a solution. The solution is straight to the rules, the solution taken in the discussion is very warm, a solution with the same spirit for the progress of the Indonesian economy which finally prospers the Indonesian people," said Arsjad as seen by VOI in a video upload on the official Instagram account @arsjasrasjid.

According to Arsjad, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a strategic partner of the government will continue to focus on encouraging inclusive, sustainable and just economic growth for all Indonesian people.

"We believe that the government, business actors, workers and professionals by working together will be able to face future economic challenges. For one Kadin, one Indonesia and one better future," he added.

The meeting was held after the dualism of Kadin's leadership emerged. Dualism was after Kadin held an Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) in Jakarta, on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The Munaslub decided Anindya Bakrie as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The results of the Munaslub caused a polemic because it was held in the midst of the leadership of Kadin, which was fronted by Arsjad Rasjid for the period 2021-2026.
