JTTS Phase II Section Made By Hutama Karya Abridges Palembang-Jambi Tempuh Time

JAKARTA - Director of Operations III Hutama Karya, Koentjoro said, a number of Phase II Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) sections that will later connect Palembang and Jambi include the Kayu Agung Bembang Toll Road Project (Section Palembang Betung) along 69 km, Betung Toll Road (Sekayu Intersection) Tempino Jambi which is carried out in stages with a total length of up to 170 km.

"Currently, those that have been completed by construction from Bayung Lencir Tempino with a percentage reaching 99%. Insha Allah can be used first next month," said Koentjoro in his statement, Tuesday, September 24.

Details of the construction sections that are being worked on are the Betung Toll Road (Sekayu Intersection) Tempino Section 1A (Betung Supat, Musi Banyuasin) with a total length of 30.80 km, and Section 4 Tempino Interchange Ness with a length of 18.49 km.

Both toll roads are targeted to be completed by 2025 if they are not constrained by the land acquisition process, and the use of construction digitization.

Furthermore, the media crew was also invited to witness the project conditions firsthand, and receive in-depth information regarding the progress of the construction, as well as discuss with project representatives about the challenges and plans ahead.

Not only that, participants are also invited to enjoy the beauty of Jambi City in a series of tourism agendas as a form of appreciation and refreshing. This activity is expected to provide a more comprehensive perspective to the media regarding this National Strategic Project (PSN).

Through this program, Hutama Karya hopes that information regarding the construction of JTTS can be conveyed better, while strengthening cooperation with media crews.

Hutama Karya hopes to continue to build positive synergies with various parties, including the media, in order to realize more advanced and sustainable infrastructure development.

One of the tour media participants, Hilda Hastuti said that this media tour activity was very interesting and sensational because it crossed the national non-toll road directly.

"This is the need for a paid free path because it can increase travel time, create Palembang Betung Jambi connectivity, and the surrounding area will also grow new economic centers," he said.

Hingga saat ini, Hutama Karya telah membangun Jalan Tol Trans Sumatra (JTTS) sepanjang ubih1.235 km, termasuk dengan jalan tol dukungan konstruksi. Untuk ruas tol Konstruksi 390 km dan 845 km ruas tol Operasi.
