Improve MotoGP Quality On September 27-29, Kemenparekraf And BUMN Express Ready For Collaboration

BANYUWANGI - In order to improve the quality of the MotoGP motorcycle racing event at the Mandalika Circuit in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, on 27-29 September 2024, the Ministry of SOEs and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is ready to collaborate.

This was stated by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno who claimed to have received a letter from SOE Minister Erick Thohir regarding cooperation to improve the quality of the 2024 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit next week.

"So, we (Kemenparekraf) will collaborate with the Minister of SOEs to help promote and increase the budget that can be juxtaposed with the MotoGP motorcycle racing event," he said during a working visit to Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Friday night, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 21.

With the collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) and the Ministry of SOEs for the promotion of the MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit this year, it will be maximized and can reach more spectators.

Regarding price accommodation in large hotels that tend to be high, according to Minister Sandiaga, there are other options and alternatives offered, such as in tourist villages around Mataram, Senggigi and East Lombok, which are more affordable options.

"In the tourist village there, the facilities are very good, and also affordable and will give a unique impression," he said.

The MotoGP racing event is scheduled to take place on 27-29 September 2024 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit.

The Mandalika Circuit is known for its stunning natural scenery and is located on the beach with a mountainous background.

The MotoGP event in Mandalika is expected to attract many visitors both from within and outside the country, and not only come to watch the race but also to enjoy the natural beauty and tourism in Lombok.
