Long Weekend, 75,000 Fast Train Tickets Sold

PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) menyebut sebanyak 75,000 tiket kereta kejangkapan pemudara tinda terjual selama periode libur panjang peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW.

"Currently, tickets that have been sold have reached around 75 thousand seats for trips from September 13 to 16. This number will continue to grow considering ticket sales are still ongoing," Eva said quoting Antara.

Eva revealed that the increase in passengers began to occur on September 13, 2024. On that date, the scheduled departure in the afternoon and evening after returning from work was one of the targets of passengers with the majority of the occupancy of the operationalUSH train reaching 98 percent.

Eva said KCIC itself prepared as many as 48 taxi trips that were able to carry 28,000 passengers per day during the long weekend holiday period in the context of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 13 to 16 September 2024.

"Total terdapat ketersediaan tempat duduk sebanyak 115.392 untuk perjalanan bettersh masa libur panjang mulai 13 hingga 16 September 2024," kata Eva.

Eva revealed that KCIC was very enthusiastic about welcoming the long holiday of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday by preparing optimally for the operation of the quick train.

"We hope that the public can take advantage of this service to travel comfortably and quickly during the holidays," he said.

The majority of Halim departure passengers disembark at Padalarang Station and continue their journey by Feeder Train to Bandung Station.

Dia menambahkan pada periode tersebut, KCIC tetap menjual tiket dengan skema dynamic pricing atau tarikan dinamis dengan menawarkan harga lebih hemat pada periode perjalanan tertentu.

"Welcoming this long holiday period, KCIC applies a dynamic tariff scheme where train rates adjust departure days and hours to selected routes with the cheapest tariff of IDR 150 thousand at certain hours," said Eva.
