JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono shed tears when bidding farewell to Commission V of the DPR.
Basuki will retire along with the change of government on October 20, 2024.
Basuki expressed his gratitude to the ranks of Commission V of the DPR for supervising the performance of the Ministry of PUPR for the last 10 years.
"Dear and respected, ladies and gentlemen of Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives, on behalf of the PUPR extended family including centers in all provinces, thank you for all the supervision you have given, the attention given to PUPR," Basuki said in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 9.
According to Basuki, the working meeting with Commission V of the DPR RI greatly helped him in his work.
"Even though every meeting, I leave, I will definitely run out. But, it turns out that the working meeting is very helpful, very encouraging me, especially as a minister to correct our leaders, echelon I," he said.

Basuki hopes that the friendship between members of the DPR and him will be maintained in the future.
