YOGYAKARTA Indonesia is again included in the list of the 100 poorest countries in the world according to Global Finance. The list was published on their official website on May 6, 2024. Based on this data, Indonesia is ranked 90th.

Please note, the ranking of the poorest country in the world Global Finance is based on gross national income or Gross National Income (GNI) in each country, or based on gross national income per capita.

Please note, GNI is similar to gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. Both of them help measure the dollar value of all goods and services that have been successfully produced by a country.

However, the GNI covers a wider size because it takes into account revenues obtained from international sources including foreign investment and property ownership in a country.

The following is a list of the 100 poorest countries according to the Global Finance 2024 version which is based on GDP-PPP per capita ($). Please note, overall Global Finance recorded 190 state data, but we will only present 100 data for the poorest countries.
