BSI Opens Weekend Banking Services At 504 Branch Offices During September

JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) opened weekend banking services at 504 branch offices during September 2024 to provide convenience for customers who need banking services on weekends or weekend banking.

"The company opens weekend banking for teller and customer service so that customers can still make transactions even on weekends," said BSI Corporate Secretary Wisnu Sunandar in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, September 8.

BSI routine weekend banking services are carried out to help customers and optimize their needs. BSI weekend banking locations can be checked through the website www.bankbsi.co.id.

Along with the 2024 Aceh National Sports Week (PON), BSI also held a weekend banking in Aceh as a form of support for athletes, visitors, and the people of Aceh. During the implementation of the PON, BSI opened 30 weekend banking outlets in Aceh.

"We realize that PON Aceh is a big event that will involve many parties, both local and national. Therefore, BSI is committed to providing the best banking services, including by holding weekend banking in Aceh, so that the transaction needs of the participants, guests, and local communities can be met optimally, even on weekends," he said.

With this service, Wisnu hopes that customers can carry out financial transactions smoothly during the Aceh PON.

Especially in areas far from ATMs and branch offices, BSI has prepared 103 thousand BSI Agents that can serve deposit and cash withdrawal transactions, electricity, water payments, credit purchases, and others.

BSI recorded significant growth in BSI Mobile. As of June 2024, the total number of BSI Mobile transactions reached more than 247 million transactions with a volume of IDR 298.82 trillion.

"BSI continues to remind customers to remain alert to potential fraud on behalf of banks, especially false information about changes in interbank rates submitted via WhatsApp messages," he said.
