CIREBON - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) will hold the 2024 Industrial Festival.

This event aims to improve literacy around industrial policies and performance, especially for the younger generation.

Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Ronggolawe Sahuri, said that there are two events that will be held, including the Industrial Festival at Halal Indo.

While the second is a collaboration with the Indonesian Batik Foundation in commemorating National Batik Day.

Ronggolawe said that in addition to improving the literacy of the younger generation of policies and industrial performance, this event also aims to provide an understanding of the importance of the role of the industrial sector for economic recovery.

"The 2024 Industry Festival is held creatively and attractively, so that it can be seen by the wider community, especially the younger generation, which can later become stakeholders who contribute to industrial development," said Ronggo in a series of preparations for the Implementation and Media Gathering Industrial Festival 2024 in Cirebon, Friday, September 6.

Ronggolawe said that through the 2024 Industrial Festival, the Ministry of Industry is also trying to encourage collaboration and the active role of industry players, policy makers, and the public in general.

Including, actualizing an industrial narrative that is actually attached to people's daily lives.

"Then that is no less important, to promote and strengthen the brand image of the Ministry of Industry as part of the domestic industrial ecosystem," he said.

The 2024 Industrial Festival will be held through participation in Halal Indo on 26-29 September 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang. Overall, the participation of the Ministry of Industry, among others, is in the form of facilitation of booths for industry players, and the handover of the Indonesia Halal Industrial Awards (IHYA) 2024.

Where the implementation of the IHYA 2024 aims to give appreciation to stakeholders, including industry business actors, experts, ministries, non-ministerial government agencies, and local governments.

Furthermore, community organizations, and financial service institutions, which have played an active role or carried out continuous innovation in the fields of growing, developing, and empowering the national halal industry.

The Ministry of Industry will present various activities that directly involve the public who are concerned with halal industry issues such as talk shows with halal influencers, stakeholders and others at the Industrial Festival at Halal Indo.

During the Industrial Festival, there were six talk shows displayed with a big theme halal awareness. Furthermore, the workshop and coaching clinic, community engagement, tunnel activity, Youth movement, and so on.

"One of the interesting facilities presented is an interactive tunnel that contains education for visitors regarding the halal industry," he said.

Meanwhile, for the second holding of the Industrial Festival 2024, the Ministry of Industry collaborated with the Indonesian Batik Foundation in commemorating the 2024 National Batik Day (HBN).

The activity will be held at the Grand Atrium Mall of Kasablanka City, Jakarta on October 2 to 6, 2024, to coincide with the celebration of National Batik Day.
