Rosan: Budget Realization Of The Ministry Of Investment Reaches IDR 754.54 Billion Until August 2024

JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani reported that the realization of the Ministry of Investment's budget performance had reached Rp754.54 billion as of August 31, 2024.

This amount is equivalent to 64.53 percent of the total budget this year.

Furthermore, Rosan said the Ministry of Investment/BPKP in 2024 was IDR 1.23 trillion. Then, there was a budget block of IDR 60 billion.

"As of August 31, 2024, which has been realized in the amount of Rp754.54 billion or 64.53 percent, it has been realized from the total budget this year after blocking Rp1.17 trillion," he said in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR held at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Tuesday, September 3.

The realization of the budget, continued Rosan, consists of a management support program of Rp289.95 billion. Then, the investment program amounted to Rp464.58 billion.

"The remaining budget that we can relax until the end of 2024 is IDR 414.7 billion or approximately 35.47 percent," he explained.

"Until the end of 2024, we will certainly optimize the absorption of the budget for each unit in our echelon," he continued.

Rosan also reported that investment realization in Indonesia in the second quarter of 2024 reached IDR 829.9 trillion, an increase of 22.3 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

"Until the first half of 2024, investment realization has been achieved of IDR 829.9 trillion. When compared to the target of the first strategic plan of IDR 1,239.3 trillion or 67 percent of the current target," he said.
