JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) stated that Indonesia was temporarily free from accusations of dumping and countervaliding duties (CVD) against shrimp export commodities sent by the United States (US).
The Director General of Strengthening the Competitiveness of Marine and Fishery Products (PDSPKP) KKP Budi Sulistyo revealed that the results of a temporary decision regarding CVD dated March 25, 2024, stated that Indonesia was not proven to have subsidized.
"The US Authority or the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) issued the results of a temporary decision that the Indonesian government is not proven to have subsidized," Budi said at a press conference at the KKP Building, Jakarta, Monday, September 2.
