JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Highways is conducting a preservation for the Maros-Batas City Boundary Section of Bone Regency.
This road connects Makassar City as a logistics center in Eastern Indonesia with Bone Regency which has Bajoe Port as an alternative crossing route to Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.
"The narrow road is on the boundary of Maros City- Bone Regency because the rock walls are currently being widened by cutting the rock cliffs," Bina Marga wrote on its official Instagram account @pupr_binamaraga, quoted on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Preservation in the form of road widening is carried out to increase connectivity and logistics efficiency in South Sulawesi.
