Free Land With PDSK Plus At IKN, KPUPR Prepares IDR 90 Billion Of Kerohiman Funds

JAKARTA - Land acquisition of around 2,086 hectares (ha) for the Capital Nusantara (IKN) project is still not finished at this time. Finally, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) said that the completion of land acquisition would be carried out through the Social Handling of Community Impact (PSDK) Plus scheme.

Then, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono also said that his party had prepared a budget of Rp90 billion for the compensation fee.

So, how is the latest development of the PDSK plus scheme?

The Director General of Housing at the PUPR Ministry, Iwan Suprijanto, said that his party would provide compensation fees in the form of cash for residents affected by the IKN development.

"That's not a house instead. But, in the form of a spiritual (fund) included in the Presidential Decree (presidential regulation)," said Iwan when met after the Merdeka Festival at the PUPR Ministry Park, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 20.

When asked further about how much compensation costs each affected resident will receive, Iwan has not been able to provide further explanation. "That (the intention) was first taken care of by the PDSK," added Iwan.

Previously, Minister Basuki said that his party had prepared a budget of Rp90 billion for compensation costs.

"We have prepared around Rp90 billion in cash," said Basuki when met by reporters at his office, Friday, August 2.

Basuki added that the compensation process is currently underway. However, he admitted that he could not specify the number of recipients because currently the integrated team consisting of OIKN, PUPR and the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) were processing this in the field.

With the issuance of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 75 of 2024, said Basuki, people can now choose if they want to receive compensation money or be relocated through the PDSK Plus scheme.

On the other hand, he explained that he had also asked permission from the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati so that PUPR could pay Rp90 billion for the compensation fee.

"We have also permission from the Minister of Finance (Sri Mulyani) for PUPR to be able to pay there, it should be OIKN. However, the budget is limited so it can be helped," he said.
