Leading Cabinet Session, Jokowi: Special Because It Was First Held In The Archipelago

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) chaired the plenary cabinet session in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, this morning. In his remarks, he said the agenda this time was special.

Jokowi also explained that it was special because the cabinet meeting was held for the first time at IKN, East Kalimantan.

"We are grateful and grateful for the presence of Allah SWT, this morning we can hold a special plenary session, because it was held for the first time in the National Capital, Nusantara," he said at the opening of the plenary cabinet meeting, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat YouTube, Monday, August 12.

Jokowi then said that not all countries have the opportunity and ability to build the nation's capital from scratch.

"IKN is a canvas that carves out the future and not everyone is not all country and not all countries have the opportunity to have the opportunity to build their capital city which starts completely from scratch," he explained.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta also explained that IKN, East Kalimantan was built with the concept of a forest city or forest city, a city full of green conditions.

Jokowi also shared the air conditions at IKN this morning. He said the air in the area was very cool, cold and fresh.
