Mayapada Hospital, A Hospital Owned By Dato Tahir Holds Vaccination For MRT Employees

JAKARTA - In an effort to improve services amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jakarta public transportation companies consisting of the MRT, LRT and Transjakarta conducted phase 1 vaccinations for 686 employees at Jakarta Fatmawati MRT Station, South Jakarta, and LRT Depot.

The implementation of the 1st dose of vaccination will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, March 24-25, 2021, while the implementation of the 2nd dose vaccination will be held with a minimum time interval of 14 days later, on Wednesday-Thursday, April 7-8, 2021 to be precise.

"As a public transportation service provider, this is done in order to provide optimal service, so as to provide a sense of security to all MRT Jakarta service users", said PT MRT Jakarta President Director William Sabandar in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday 24 March.

William said that vaccinations were given to all employees of PT MRT Jakarta including its subsidiaries. The vaccine is given by the Ministry of Health through the Provincial Health Office of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the ranks of the health clinic.

MRT Jakarta has also appointed Mayapada Hospital as the hospital of choice for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. Mayapada Healthcare Group CEO, Jonathan Tahir supports the government in accelerating the COVID-19 vaccination program and becomes the appointed partner as a vaccinator for PT MRT Jakarta and PT LRT Jakarta.

Not only focusing on vaccinators for the elderly, but the hospital owned by Dato Tahir is also open to helping provide vaccinations according to targets that have been previously determined by the government, both in the DKI Jakarta area and the assistance needed for areas outside Jakarta such as Bogor and Tangerang.

"We are committed to always synergizing and helping the government in accelerating the handling of COVID-19 both in the Government's Vaccination Program and Independent Vaccination or Mutual Cooperation in the future", said Jonathan, son of Dato Tahir, the 10th richest person in Indonesia.

This vaccination is an effort to accommodate collaboration and synergy between Regional-owned Enterprise (BUMD) Transportation, namely with the Jakarta and Transjakarta LRT.

MRT Jakarta welcomes and fully supports the National vaccination program organized by the government to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia.

PT MRT Jakarta continues to urge the public to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols in activities, such as the obligation to wear masks, maintain distance, and wash hands as an integrated measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
