Of The 220 Investors Entering IKN, There Are Japan And China Interested In The Property Sector

Acting Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) as well as Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono said that currently there are around 220 investors who have entered the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).

Two of them are investors from Japan and China who are ready to lay the first stone or groundbreaking.

"According to previous evaluations, only 220 deserve to be called investors. Because there are other contractors, consultants and suppliers," Basuki told reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, August 8.

"There are two from abroad, namely China and Japan," he continued.

Basuki said the two countries would invest in property. "Houses and property. So, not just housing, there are hotels, there are offices," he said.

Meanwhile, said Basuki, out of a total of 220 investors who have entered, 45 investors have carried out groundbreaking. To date, 60 investors are going through the evaluation process.

"220 (investors). Yesterday it was groundbreaking, right, only 5. Well, the rest of the day I will invite again which has been evaluated, which is in the process there are 60s. We will try to accelerate this again," he said.

Previously, Deputy for Investment and Funding of OIKN Agung Wicaksono said, currently LoI IKN's position has reached 421 letters.

"Now there are 421 (LoI) numbers," said Agung when met at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, July 12.

Agung explained, out of a total of 421 LoI, 45 companies are pioneer investors.

"Investors are pioneers, right, 45 companies so far," he added.
