Netzme Facilitates QRIS Soundbox At JITEX 2024

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government of Special Jakarta through the Office of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM), together with the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Renters Association (Hippindo), as well as the Association of craftsmen and business actors in Jakarta Province, held a series of events for Jakarta International, Investment, Trade, Tourism, And SME Expo (JITEX) 2024.

The event took place from 7-11 August 2024 with a series of activities such as Product & MSME Exhibitions ready for export, business matching, talk shows, electric motorcycle bazaars, JITEX Mega Sale, Bazaar Furniture.

The Provincial Government of Jakarta continues to be committed to supporting MSMEs in Jakarta through an Integrated Entrepreneurship Development program, or known as Jakarta Entrepreneur, as a creation platform, facilitation and collaboration in the development of MSMEs through entrepreneurship so that MSME actors increase their productivity and competitiveness so that they can support economic growth and equity in Jakarta.

Head of the Trade Industry Office of the DKI Jakarta Province Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative (PPKUKM), Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo in her speech said that through Jakarta Entrepreneur it is a form of real support and is able to become a forum for MSMEs to be able to advance to class and be able to increase competitiveness and these products will be introduced as Made in Jakarta products.

"In order to support digital transformation programs, one of the efforts we are making is to encourage the use of the QRIS JakPreneur which has been upgraded today using technology that improves transaction security, namely the QRIS Soundbox JakPreneur," Elisabeth said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 8.

In the momentum of the JITEX 2024 event which was attended by more than 300 MSMEs, Jakarta Entrepreneur (JakPreneur) and the PPKUKM Office again collaborated with the digital payment service provider company PT Netzme Kreasi Indonesia (Netzme), launching the QRIS Soundbox Jakarta Entrepreneur (JakPreneur).

Launching QRIS Soundbox JakPreneur is dedicated to MSMEs under the guidance of JakPreneur to support the non-cash movement and increase the security of QRIS transactions at the MSME level. This launch was also carried out to celebrate the 2024 National QRIS Week (PQN).

In this event, JakPreneur's QRIS Soundbox was symbolically handed over to 20 selected Jakarta Entrepreneur MSMEs.

10 of them are MSMEs with the highest accumulated transactions during 2024, and 10 are winners of the QRIS JakPreneur Parade Competition at the East Jakarta simultaneous bazaar.

The handover of the Jakarta Entrepreneur QRIS Soundbox was also attended by the Head of the Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office, Arlyana Abubakar and the CEO of PT Netzme Kreasi Indonesia (Netzme), Vicky Ganda Saputra.

Bank Indonesia KpW Jakarta also supports the submission of the QRIS Soundbox as a form of participation in the 2024 PQN.

Head of the Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office, Arlyana Abubakar, said in my opinion, QRIS Soundbox is one of the innovations on the payment side to help MSMEs believe that QRIS transactions have been carried out correctly and have also been confirmed to have been received.

"My hope is that JakPreneur MSMEs here can further develop, to help develop it from this JakPreneur MSME, we of course must also help facilitate them in terms of payment. So, by using QRIS, direct payments are received, enter their accounts, so that then they can also directly use their funds for other transactions," said Arlyana.

Previously, Netzme was successful with the integration of QRIS JakPreneur with the PPKUKM Office, through this QRIS Soundbox every QRIS transaction from a customer will be directly confirmed in voice, ensuring the safety and convenience of transactions.

The show case for using the Jakarta Soundbox QRIS Entrepreneur has been carried out by the PPKUKM Office at the Jakarta Entrepreneur bazaars such as the Cattalleya, Palmerah and Balaikota Bazaars.

The advantages of QRIS Soundbox Jakarta Entrepreneur include that merchants can focus on customer service, faster payments and queues at cashiers will decrease drastically, extra security with direct confirmation of QRIS payments, cashiers no longer need to take pictures of customer phones, provide a more comfortable shopping experience, no need to go back and forth checking merchant applications and also being able to help cashiers with special needs to work more easily.
