The Ministry Of Industry Said That The Contents Of The 26,415 Containers Were Detained At The Port, Here Are The Details

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Febri Hendri Antoni Arif revealed the contents of the 26,415 containers that had been held in a number of Indonesian ports.

Febri detailed the contents of the container based on a letter submitted by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) received on August 2, 2024.

The DJBC grouped the containers based on the Board Economic Category (BEC), which consisted of three. In detail, there were 21,166 containers of raw and auxiliary materials (80.13 percent), 3,356 containers of consumer goods (12.70 percent) and 1,893 containers of capital goods (7.17 percent).

According to Febri, the data submitted by DJBC is incomplete. Given, the BEC group contained only the top 10 items.

"We doubt the calculation of the 26,415 figure. Is there really a container? Yes, because in the layer of the Customs and Excise letter, they present the container data in the format of the 10 largest groups of goods, the most containers," said Febri, quoted Thursday, August 8.

He considered that not all the contents of the container could be disclosed or explained by DJBC. Febri said there were around 12,994 containers whose information was missing or the contents were unknown.

"12,994 containers whose information is missing and are not well described in attachment data which have a large 10 format," he said.

The following are the details of the contents of the container based on a letter from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance:

- Raw/auxiliary materials:

1. Poliasetals, other polyeters and epoxide resins, in the form of origin; polycarbonates, resinalkids, polyalile esters and other polyesters, in the form of origin (1,319 containers);

2. Binder processing for metal-financing references or cores; products and chemical preparations of the associated chemical or industrial industries (including processed products consisting of mixtures of natural products), are not detailed or included in other posts (1,026 containers);

3. Iron sheets/tables are not alloys (non-alloys) wrapped,absorbed or coated, 600 mm wide or more (926 containers);

4. Recovered paper or cardboard paper (remain and screen) (790 containers);

5. Fuel, lubricant and preparat are not detailed or included in other posts, containing petroleum oil or oil obtained from minerals containing 70 percent of the magnitude or more according to the weight (760 containers);

6. Vessels, pipes and hollow profiles, of iron tung (713 containers);

7. Fabrics or other related fabrics (670 containers);

8. Part of television, radio, camera, flat screen panel (497 containers);

9. Other items of iron or steel (428 containers);

10. Woven cloth or associated with a width exceeding 30 cm (428 containers).

- Consumption items:

1. Rice (1,600 containers);

2. Other food consumption (412 containers);

3. Household washing machine (231 containers);

4. Doll toys, cars, scale models and similar toys (199 containers);

5. Household electrical heating tools such as irons, hair dryers, water heaters and the like (169 containers);

6. Footwear with rubber outer soles, plastic, skin Samak or compositional skin and the upper part of textiles (139 containers);

7. Monitor, projector, television, STBB (84 containers);

8. Preparatory beauty and cosmetics (71 containers);

9. Stoves and non-electric furnaces (65 containers);

10. Other goods and materials from plastic (51 containers).

- Capital goods:

1. Air pump, compressor (656 containers);

2. Fluid pump (382 containers);

3. Air temperature control engine/AC (306 containers);

4. Refrigerator, freezer (274 containers);

5. Machines with heating equipment (263 containers);

6. Sound system such as earphone-loudspeaker (212 containers);

7. Computers of data processing and their devices (126 containers);

8. Telecommunications phone/HP-device (92 containers);

9. Video game consoles (55 containers);

10. tanks, drums, iron cylinders (50 containers).
