TASPEN Together With Mitsubishi Bangun 'Two Sudirman Jakarta' As World-Class Property In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Dana Tabungan dan Asuransi Pegawai Negeri (Persero) (TASPEN) berkomitmen untuk berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi negara dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Indonesia, salah satunya dengan kolaborasi bersama mitra internasional.

To realize this commitment, TASPEN through its Taspen Properti subsidiary together with Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd., intensified the construction of the Oasis Central Sudirman Project and implemented a brand launching of the project under the name, 'Two Sudirman Jakarta.' On the same occasion, TASPEN through PT Central Sudirman Development also signed a collaboration with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation as the selected company to carry out hotel and apartment management operations under the name Andaz Jakarta Sudirman'.

This world-class property project (world-class property) is expected to improve the economy, maintain economic stability, and create jobs so as to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people. This activity was attended directly by Plt. TASPEN President Director Rony Hanityo Aprianto, President Director of Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia Yasuaki Oda, and President Director of Greater China and Growth in Asia Pacific from Hyatt Group Stephen Ho at the Royal Glasshouse Hotel Park Hyatt Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Thursday 1 August.

The collaboration between TASPEN Properti and Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. This is TASPEN's effort to drive the economy by presenting international standard areas with business and residential ecosystems that can compete globally. This strategic collaboration in the investment sector and this property aims to create a balance of Indonesian geopolitical conditions. The choice of the name 'Two Sudirman Jakarta' has also passed a series of curation professionally and is targeted to be one of the tallest buildings in Jakarta," he said.

The choice of the name 'Two Sudirman Jakarta' is based on the location of the building located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Kavling No. 2 Central Jakarta. In addition, the building is planned to consist of two towers as the main building. The first building with a height of 330 meters will be used as an office, apartment, hotel, skydeck, and commercial retail facilities.

While the second building with a height of 270 meters will be used as a residential condominium building. In collaboration with Hyatt, Andaz Jakarta Sudirman will offer an unforgettable experience for visitors by combining luxurious and modern designs with local culture that have become a design trend in many major cities and resort areas around the world.

The 'Two Sudirman Jakarta' building was built on an area of 3.3 hectares belonging to TASPEN. The location of the building is quite strategic because it has access to various modes of public transportation, such as MRT, LRT, Airport Rail Link, KRL, and Transjakarta Buses and is located right in the center of business, trade center, and government areas.

Previously, in July 2024, TASPEN had appointed a major contractor, namely a consortium between China State Construction and Taisei Joint Operation (CSCT-JO) in the early days of building 'Two Sudirman Jakarta'. Until now, construction has reached the completion of the construction foundation work and construction of the Marketing Gallery which is planned to be open to the public in October 2024.

"Two Sudirman Jakarta" is planned to have a large green area to support the concept of an international-class Green and Sustainable Building. This is in line with the direction of SOE Minister Erick Thohir that building development in Indonesia must implement the Green Building concept to support the implementation of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) in all aspects of the company.

It is hoped that the collaboration between Indonesia and international partners through the development of 'Two Sudirman Jakarta' can increase TASPEN's contribution in encouraging Indonesia's economic progress.
