The Price Of The Bioethenol Market Index In August Is Set At IDR 15,010 Per Liter

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) has set the price of the Nabati Fuel Index (BBN) for Bioethenol for August 2024 at IDR 15,010 per liter.

Head of the Communication, Public Information and Cooperation Service (KLIK) Bureau of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Agus Cahyono Adi said, the HIP BBN Bioethenol experienced a slight decrease of IDR 91 per liter when compared to July, which was IDR 15,101 per liter.

"This pricing has been effective since August 1, 2024, as stated in the Letter of the Director General of EBTKE Number T-2758/EK.05/DJE.B/2024 which was signed on July 24, 2024," said AGus, Thursday, August 1.

Agus said that the calculation of the price of HIP BBN Bioethenol uses the predetermined formula, namely (The average price of cane cane KPB 3 months x 4,125 kg/L) + 0.25 US dollars/L.

So that the HIP BBN Bioethenol in August 2024 obtained a price of Rp. 15,010 per liter.

"The average price of KPB cane drops from February 15 to July 14, 2024 is IDR 2,647 per kg, with the conversion of the exchange rate using the Bank Indonesia middle exchange rate average with the period from June 15 to July 14, 2024, amounting to IDR 16,359," Agus concluded.
