Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Inaugurates The Balekambang Park Area Arrangement Project Managed By PTPP

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk as one of the state-owned companies engaged in Construction and Investment in Indonesia (PTPP) carried out the inauguration of the Balekambang Park Area Arrangement Project in Surakarta City, Central Java Province. The inauguration ceremony was attended and inaugurated directly by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin which was symbolically marked by the suppression of the siren button and the signing of the inscription.

Also accompanying Vice President Ma'ruf at the inauguration ceremony were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana, Acting Mayor of Surakarta Teguh Prakosa, Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Central Java Province, President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad, and Director of Indria Group S. Hartanto.

The Balekambang Park Area Arrangement/Revitalization project has a land area of 128,000 m2 and a building area of 22,0251 m2, which has a contract value of IDR 170.09 billion. This project is an Operational Cooperation (KSO) between PTPP and PT Pijar Utama. The Balekambang Park Performance Building received the Indonesian World Record Musem Award Charter (MURI) for its success as the First Show Building with the Most Telescopic Seat Facilities.

The benefits of structuring this area are the protection business of cultural heritage areas, the improvement of green open space facilities, educational facilities, and entertainment for the people in the city of Solo.

In his remarks, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin conveyed the efforts and seriousness of the state in fulfilling the rights and access for all Indonesian people, the government continues to be committed to developing green infrastructure in various regions in Indonesia, one example being the development of green areas and green open spaces in urban areas.

"Today we should be grateful, the arrangement of the balekambang park area has been completed and is ready to be opened to the public," said Ma'ruf Amin, in an official statement, quoted on Thursday, July 25.

It was also conveyed in his speech that the presence of the balekambang park is expected to play an important role in maintaining environmental ecology and sustainability, as well as being able to become a new tourist attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.

"Thus, this park can bring significant benefits to society, the environment, and also the economy," said Ma'ruf Amin.

PTPP President Director Novel Arsyad said that the completion of the Balekambang Park Area Arrangement Project was PTPP's achievement in building green areas and green open spaces in urban areas.

"The inauguration of the Balekambang Park Area Arrangement Project by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia indicates that currently PTPP is not only capable of large-scale infrastructure development such as Toll Roads, Dams, Airports, or Ports, but also in urban green areas," explained Novel.

Of course, PTPP will continue to support the commitment of the Indonesian government in the development of domestic green infrastructure, with the competence and experience of PTPP's success in previous projects, to be able to create an environmentally organized, quality, sustainable, and can improve the quality of life of the community.
