Bank DKI Cares For Providing Child Assistance With HIV Through The AIDS Management Commission

JAKARTA - In commemoration of National Children's Day and as a tangible manifestation of the Social & Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), Bank DKI provides assistance to 80 children living with HIV (ADHIV). This assistance is channeled through the DKI Jakarta Province AIDS Management Commission on Monday in Jakarta July 22, in the form of nutrition and basic necessities with the aim of meeting the nutritional needs of ADHIV children.

President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H. Widodo, in his written statement said that the provision of nutrition for ADHIV is part of Bank DKI's commitment to provide social meaning for the community.

"This initiative is also a manifestation of the company's social responsibility and is expected to ease the burden on the affected families and provide support for their health and welfare," said Agus.

Agus added that in addition to providing assistance, this program also aims to increase public awareness about the importance of support for children living with HIV. With this program, Bank DKI hopes to provide new enthusiasm and hope for ADHIV children.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi also explained that the assistance for providing nutrition and basic necessities to children with HIV (ADHIV) is part of Bank DKI's Sustainable Financial Action Plan (RAKB) in 2024.

"The implementation of CSR carried out by Bank DKI is also a form of the company's efforts in implementing Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), considering that Bank DKI's role is not only a business entity, but also provides added value for the development of the city of Jakarta and its citizens in a sustainable manner," said Arie.

Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Province AIDS Management Commission, Moch. Ichwan, welcomed this initiative and expressed his gratitude.

"We are very grateful to Bank DKI for the assistance provided. A fairly important nutrition for our children, and this assistance is very meaningful in supporting their daily health," said Ichwan.

The Implementation Of The CSR Program Of Bank DKI Cares

During the first semester of 2024, Bank DKI has realized the provision of CSR in various fields, including education, and social assistance. Various programs that have been implemented by Bank DKI, including stunting management programs, educational assistance to children with disabilities at the Peduli Anak Defert Jakarta Foundation, as well as Educational Fund Assistance to children retired Bank DKI.

Furthermore, in the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H / 2024 AD, Bank DKI also provided compensation to 8,500 orphans and poor children from 5 areas of DKI Jakarta Administrative City, until most recently Bank DKI distributed 800 eggs to students of SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta as an effort to support stunting management programs in Jakarta.
