JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) noted that digital banking transactions through BSI Mobile as of June 2024 grew significantly by 45.02 percent on an annual basis (year on year/yoy).
Through a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, July 19, BSI President Director Hery Gunardi said, until June 2024 the number of BSI Mobile users reached 7.1 million users and recorded a transaction amount of 247.5 million transactions with a volume of Rp299 trillion.
This figure grew significantly compared to June 2023 when BSI Mobile users were recorded at 3.26 million users with 170.7 million transactions and a transaction volume of IDR 220.5 trillion.
The fee-based income (FBI) obtained through BSI Mobile from January to June 2024 reached IDR 178.2 billion or grew 37.09 percent on an annual basis.
Hery said this extraordinary growth showed a high interest from the Indonesian people in BSI Mobile.
The company, said Hery, will continue to innovate and strategy to accelerate the acceleration of digital transactions.
