Wondr Will Replace BNI Mobile Banking, Transition Period At Most 12 Months

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) recently launched Super App Wondr by BNI. Later, the super app will replace BNI Mobile Banking which has been used.

Senior Executive Vice President of Digital Business Rian Eriana Kaslan said that later everything that facilitates transactions and investments will be offered through Wondr by BNI.

"Regarding whether BNI Mobile Banking will be sunset or closed later? In the future, our plan is for all the conveniences to be offered through Wondr," he said in a discussion at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.

Even so, Rian ensured that his party was not in a hurry to close the BNI Mobile Banking application even though it had officially launched Wondr by BNI.

"For our transition, the goal is not to immediately turn it off. But how to make sure Wondr is ready to meet all customer needs," he said.

Furthermore, Rian admitted that he had not yet determined when to close the BNI Mobile Banking application. However, usually the transition period to the new application takes 6 to 12 months.

Currently Wondr, the available features cover more than 90 percent of the features used by customers at BNI Mobile Banking. And the migration to Wondr is very fast. So maybe in 6 to 12 months, everything can be transitioned to Wondr," he said.

Rian said that the features in Wondr are certain to adjust the needs of customers.

One of them is the financial planning feature to monitor the inflow and out of customer finances.

"The difference with BNI Mobile Banking, what we emphasize in Wondr is not about the many contents, but the ease and relevance of daily use," said Rian.
