Bank Muamalat And Muhammadiyah Serang Establish Simultaneous Account Opening Cooperation

PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk facilitates account opening simultaneously for business charities, autonomous organizations, and hundreds of Muhammadiyah residents in Serang City, Banten.

Bank Muamalat SEVP Retail Banking Dedy Suryadi Dharmawan said his party welcomed the initiative from Muhammadiyah in Serang city and was ready to provide the best financial services. For Bank Muamalat, Muhammadiyah's Association and its entire ecosystem are strategic partners both in terms of funding and financing.

Dedy explained, on this occasion as many as 23 business charities and the Muhammadiyah autonomous organization in Serang opened an account at the Bank Muamalat Serang branch office, which was also attended by employees and members of Muhammadiyah.

Previously, Bank Muamalat and Muhammadiyah Serang had signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the use of Islamic banking products. Therefore, the simultaneous opening of accounts is a follow-up to the cooperation.

In addition to opening accounts, in the future Bank Muamalat will open opportunities for business charities and Muhammadiyah autonomous organizations in the city of Serang to obtain banking facilities. Among them are the management of payment of employee salaries (payrolls), business capital financing, and multipurpose financing and mortgages for Muhammadiyah employees and residents.

In addition, both parties will also collaborate within the scope of education, health, social and community service. The collaboration will involve Muhammadiyah business charities in Serang such as schools, clinics, cooperatives and Islamic boarding schools.
