Sri Mulyani Reveals Indonesia's Strategy to Achieve Golden Indonesia 2045

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati conveyed various efforts made by the Indonesian Government to be able to maintain economic resilience in the face of global uncertainty in realizing the vision of Indonesia Emas 2025.

"The world and geopolitical situation are increasingly complex, Indonesia continues to strive to achieve its ideals towards Indonesia Emas 2045," she said in her personal Instagram post @smindrawati, Wednesday, July 17.

In her personal Instagram post, Sri Mulyani said she received a senior producer and reporter for German Media Deutsche Welle @dwnews, namely Arthur Sullivan. The topic of the interview was about Indonesia's potential to become a global power and achievements in the last decade.

In addition, Sri Mulyani said that not many countries in the world are able to achieve the status of developed and high-income countries, most countries in the world are stuck in middle income status - thus the terminology Middle Income Trap emerged.

Sri Mulyani explained that to achieve a high-income country, Human Resource Investment is needed where Indonesia allocates a 20 percent budget for education according to the constitution and education and health reforms have been and are being carried out.

In addition, Sri Mulyani explained that infrastructure development was carried out to catch up (infrastructure gap) and encourage productivity and community mobility.

Then the Indonesian Government carried out economic transformation with downstream policies to create added value and build good and clean institutions and governance, so that good policies can be executed and implemented effectively.

"Reform of the State Budget and State Finance is an important part that cannot be separated from efforts to build Indonesia," she said.
