Acting Governor Of Central Java Appreciates KITB, Urges Entrepreneurs To Help Victims Of Batang Earthquake

JAKARTA - The earthquake that hit Batang Regency on July 7, 2024 has caused damage to houses and infrastructure in several areas. As a form of concern for the affected communities, PT Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (Grand Batang City) provided assistance in the form of 300 sacks of cement and 100 packages of basic necessities.

Also attending the handover ceremony was Nana Sudjana, Acting Governor of Central Java, Major General TNI Deddy Suryadi Pangdam IV/Diponegoro, and Lani Dwi Rejeki, Acting Regent of Batang and Forkopimda of Batang Regency. They were all present to directly inspect the condition of the community and houses damaged by the earthquake in Kalisalak, Batang District, Batang Regency.

"Entrepreneurs here care about this community, which I really hope will be like KITB (Grand Batang City) which provides building materials assistance in the form of 300 cement and 100 food packages to ease the burden on the community who will repair their homes. and we also hope that other entrepreneurs we urge in conditions like this need to provide assistance to people affected by this earthquake," said Nana Sudjana, in her statement, Wednesday, July 10.

The President Director of Grand Batang City, Ngurah Wirawan, said that as part of the Batang community, his party felt compelled to help ease the burden on the brothers affected by the earthquake.

"This assistance is a tangible form of our concern for others. We hope this assistance can help people affected by the earthquake to immediately rise up and restart their lives. KITB will continue to be committed to supporting the community under any conditions," said Ngurah Wirawan.

According to the vision and mission of Grand Batang City, it has become a sustainable industrial area by paying attention to the environment and the surrounding community, especially when disasters hit. The assistance provided is expected to be an inspiration for other companies to participate in providing support and assistance for disaster victims.
