PT PP Pede State Palace IKN Can Be Used For Ceremony August 17, 2024

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is optimistic that the construction of the State Palace in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) can be completed on time so that it can be used for the 17 August 2024 ceremony.

"Of course we are optimistic that the Palace can later be used for ceremonies, considering that the project completion process is currently being carried out," said Corporate Secretary of PT PP (Persero) Joko Raharjo quoting Antara.

Joko Raharjo, who has just served as Corporate Secretary of PT PP replacing Bakhtiyar Efendi, said that currently the progress of the Palace construction in IKN has reached 85 percent, while the Presidential Office has 90 percent.

This state-owned construction and investment company, he said, is committed to continuing to complete a number of projects at IKN assigned by the government so that they can be completed according to the set time.

"Regarding projects in IKN, the company continues to increase its commitment to complete and support infrastructure development including projects in the National Capital," he said.

Several projects in the IKN area were successfully completed by PT PP with 100 percent progress, namely the Central Government Core Area Preparation Project or KIPP Phase 1, KIPP Phase 2 Preparation Project, IKN Logistics Pier Project and Phase 1 Phase of the West Side National Aquaculture Project.

"The company continues to be committed to supporting the government to complete a number of national strategic projects, especially those that will soon function this year," said Joko.
