Foreign Funds Entered Capai IDR 8.34 Trillion In The First Week Of July 2024

JAKARTA Bank Indonesia (BI) noted that there is an incoming foreign capital or capital inflow from domestic finance from July 1 to July 4, 2024, non-residents in the domestic financial market recorded a net purchase of IDR 8.34 trillion

Assistant Governor of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia Erwin Haryono said foreign funds entered the stock market and Rupiah Securities of Bank Indonesia (SRBI).

"Buy net IDR 2.08 trillion in the stock market, buy net IDR 8.15 trillion in Bank Indonesia Securities (SRBI), and sell net IDR 1.89 trillion in the SBN market," he explained through an official statement, quoted on Sunday, July 7th.

Selama tahun 2024, berdasarkan data setelmen sampai dengan 4 Juli 2024, nonresident tercatat jual neto Rp32,58 triliun di pasar SBN, jual neto Rp9,06 triliun di pasar saham, dan beli neto Rp139,79 triliun di SRBI.

In line with these developments, Erwin said that the CDS Indonesia premium 5 years as of July 4, 2024 was 73.58 bps, down from June 28, 2024, of 77.05 bps.

Erwin said that based on the development of Bank Indonesia's conditions, it continues to strengthen coordination with the Government and relevant authorities and optimize policy mix strategies to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability in order to support sustainable economic growth.
