Relaunching BUMN Foundation, Erick Thohir Appoints Prilly Latuconsina As Mentor

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir officially re-launched or re-launched the transformation of the BUMN Foundation.

This transformation is carried out to ensure that the management of the BUMN Foundation runs optimally and efficiently.

In this relaying, Erick introduced the board of directors and parties involved in the direction of the BUMN Foundation in the future. Namely, actress Prilly Latuconsina is included in the board of directors or mentors.

"So of course I mentioned that there are Prilly Latuconsina, environmental activists, founders of Generation Caring for Earth and also actresses who are also always viral and the film is always watched," Erick said at the Relaunching of the BUMN Foundation entitled Building Mental and Nature for Indonesia in Sarinah, Jakarta, Friday, July 5.

Met after the inauguration, Erick said, the task that Prilly will carry out later is as a mentor for the development of young people in the future.

"Yes, again, we need mentoring, young Indonesians need mentoring. Yes, young Indonesians cannot just be released, without mentoring," he explained.

According to Erick, Prilly can be an inspirational figure for young people. So that it can accelerate and share insights for the development of young people.

"Because of course yes, they need assistance so that they can accelerate but also see how much bigger they can be, they don't actually get confused, but 'oh, this direction' learns from what? From figures who have fallen up and down," he said.

Erick said that not only Prilly Latuconsina, a number of experts were also included in the same ranks in the BUMN Foundation. For example, Prof. Agus P. Sasmito, as Researcher, Professor (Associate)atus University, Canada.

Agus co-founded the Mine Multiphysics Laboratory and developed technology for mining ventilation, temperature settings, geo-energy, heat energy storage, and multi-physics modeling in the mining sector.

Then, Vikra Ijas, an official entrepreneur, Co-founder & CEO of Kitabisa.com. Nacitta Kenandara, as Food technology expert, Co-Founder & CEO of Arummi Foods. Then, Dr. Desti Alkano, as Co-Founder & Executive Director of ECADIN (Energy Academy Indonesia).

Then, there is Taufiq W Triambodo as an Experience Environmental Specialist. Also, Dr. Mesty Ariotedjo, as a pediatrician and public health expert, Founder of Children.

"And of course the most important thing is our friend, my best friend, namely the CEO of the Temasek Foundation, Mr. Ng Boon Heong, welcome back," said Erick.
