Lampung Farmer Exchange Rate In June 2024 Increases 3.91 Percent

JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said that in June 2024 the exchange rate of farmers (NTP) in Lampung Province increased by 3.91 percent compared to May 2024.

"The exchange rate for Lampung farmers in June is 126.56, when compared to the previous month which was only 121.79. This farmer's exchange rate increased by 3.91 percent," said Head of the Lampung Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on Parlindungan Lubis reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 1.

He said the exchange rate of farmers in Lampung was quite high and exceeded the national farmer's exchange rate of 118.77 in June 2024.

"The development of the exchange rate of farmers who experienced this increase was contributed from several sub-sectors, namely the exchange rate of food crop sub-sector farmers, which increased by 1.83 percent, from 100.54 in May to 102.38 in June," he said.

Then from the horticultural sub-sector in June, the number was 133.97, up 6.33 percent from May which was only 125.99 percent, from the sub-sector of people's plantations, an increase of 5.75 percent in June with an exchange rate of 161.89 farmers and in the previous month 153.09.

Then from the livestock sub-sector it rose 1.86 percent in May its value was 99.63 to 101.47 in June.

"Furthermore, the fisheries sub-sector for fishing for farmers' exchange rates increased by 1.09 percent from 107.79 in May to 108.96 in June. As for aquaculture, it is the only sub-sector that has decreased by 0.31 percent," he said.

He continued, the development of the agricultural exchange rate (NTUP) in his region in June also increased by a percentage of 3.90 percent so that the value was 129.73.

"The exchange rate for agricultural businesses from various sub-sectors has increased except for aquaculture sub-sectors, which decreased by 0.12 percent from a value in May of 101.92 to 101.80 in June," he added.

As for the exchange rate for agricultural businesses from various other sectors in June, which experienced an increase, namely the food crop sector rose 1.89 percent, horticulture rose 6.32 percent, people's plantation crops rose 5.71 percent, livestock rose 1.65 percent, and capture fisheries rose 1.29 percent.
