DISCOTICS 2024, Strengthen Indonesian Automotive Industry Synergy And Insights

JAKARTA - The Automotive Journalists Forum (FORWOT) has again held an annual agenda in the form of the Modern Automotive Discussion (DISKOTIK) which was held 14-15 December 2024. Many series of events took place, starting from joint driving activities (touring) starting from the FORWOT Secretariat located in East Cilandak, South Jakarta, to Cigombong, Bogor Regency, West Java. Arriving at the discussion location, the participants received interesting materials about the development of the automotive industry from the speakers, to increase new insights and insights from the automotive sector for 2025. This event itself raised the theme of Automotive Outlook 2025.

"Diskotik 2024 is a medium for journalists and automotive industry players to exchange information as well as strengthen the relationship, so it is hoped that it can make a positive contribution to national automotive in the future," said Chairman of the 2024 DISKOTIK Organizer Afrizal Abdul Rahman, during his remarks at the event, Sunday 15 December.

Various interesting activities presented in the 2024 DISCOTICs series, cannot be separated from the support of FORWOT stakeholders namely PT Chery Sales Indonesia, PT Honda Prospect Motor, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, Dyandra Promosindo, Seven Event, PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Wuling Motors, Makaka Motors, PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, PT Neta Auto Indonesia, PT Goodyear Indonesia, YHI Indonesia, Garda Oto, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia, JPX Helmet, Rabbit and Wheels, PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, Liqui Moly, and Lupromax Indonesia. Interesting activities held at the event are like grouped games that add to their cohesiveness at the event. There are also very interesting discussions. DISTOTIC 2024 also pitted the participants' creativity to create social media content, featuring Chery J6, Honda CR-V e:HEV, and Wuling Cloud EV. The appearance of the three environmentally friendly electrification cars is one of FORWOT's support for reducing air pollution, anticipating energy crises and supporting a more environmentally friendly automotive industry.
