KAI Adjusts Departure Hours For 17 Long-distance Trains As Of July 1

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area (Daop) 1 Jakarta adjusts the departure time for long-distance trains (KAJJ) from Pasar Senen Station and Jatinegara Station starting July 1, 2024.

The effort was made to improve services to customers, especially the timeliness of departure and arriving at customer destination stations.

The Public Relations Manager of Daop 1 Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, June 30, explained that there were 17 KAJJ departing from Pasar Senen Station and four KAJJ arrivals at Pasar Senen Station, which will be adjusted for scheduled departure time and arrive at Pasar Senen Station.

"There are 17 KAJJ departing from Pasar Senen Station, we will adjust the departure time, from Pasar Senen Station and also Jatinegara Station. In addition, four KAJJs who headed to Pasar Senen Station and stopped at Jatinegara Station were also adjusted," said Ixfan.

He revealed that the adjustment was made so that the train, which previously did not stop at Jatinegara Station, would maintain its timeliness when it arrived at the destination station.

In addition, the departure time from Jatinegara Station is scheduled according to the set time.

"Thus, the train when it comes and departs at Jatinegara Station becomes scheduled. So that passengers also do not need to rush because the schedule has been set," he said.

List of 17 KAJJs that have been rescheduled for departure from Pasar Senen Station and Jatinegara Station starting July 1, 2024, namely KA 246A Bengawan, departing Pasar Senen Station 05.55 WIB, departing Jatinegara Station 06.09 WIB; KA 148A Sawunggalih, departing Pasar Senen Station 07.05 WIB, departing Jatinegara Station 07.19 WIB; KA 224A North Kutojaya, departing Pasar Senen Station 08.55 WIB, departing Jatinegara Station 09.09 WIB.

Furthermore, KA 152B Tawang Jaya Premium, departed Pasar Senen Station 09.50 WIB, departed Jatinegara Station 10.05 WIB; KA 170A Tegal Bahari, departed Pasar Senen Station 10.25 WIB, departed Jatinegara Station 10.39 WIB; KA 234A Mataruja, departed Pasar Senen Station 10.40 WIB, departed Jatinegara Station 10.54 WIB; KA 236A Airlangga, departed Pasar Senen Station 11.15 WIB, departing Jatinegara Station 11.29 WIB.

List of four KAJJ arrivals at Pasar Senen Station and Jatinegara Station which are rescheduled for arrival at Pasar Senen Station and Jatinegara Station starting July 1, 2024, namely KA 129A Gumarang, arriving at Jatinegara Station 02.05 Wib, arriving at Pasar Senen Station 02.20 WIB; KA 217A Jayakarta, arriving at Jatinegara Station 02.33 Wib, coming Pasar Senen Station 02.45 WIB; KA 219A Kertajaya, arriving at Jatinegara Station 08.06 WIB, coming Pasar Senen Station 08.20 WIB; and KA 169A Tegal Bahari, arriving at Jatinegara Station 19.07 Wib, coming at Pasar Senen Station 19.20 WIB.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta hopes that with the adjustment of the KAJJ departure schedule, it can provide sufficient time to ride and drop passengers at Jatinegara Station.

"Passengers need not be in a hurry and are more comfortable at the station or on the train," said Ixfan.
